This Privacy Policy explains how Sitebud ("Sitebud", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you use sitebud.co and the services we provide. We keep the data we collect to the minimum needed to run your account.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and, if you choose, a display name and password (stored securely in hashed form).
- Google sign in: if you sign in with Google, we receive only your name, email address and profile photo. We do not access your Gmail, contacts, Drive or any other Google data.
- Content you add: your handle, bio, links and images you place on your page.
- Basic usage data: anonymous visit counts for your published page, used to power your analytics.
How we use information
- To create and secure your account and let you sign in.
- To publish and display the page you build.
- To send important account or service emails.
- Occasionally, product updates or marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Google user data
Sitebud's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google data is used only to sign you in and fill in your basic profile. We never sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with trusted service providers that help us host and run Sitebud, under strict confidentiality, or when required by law.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hunter@sitebud.co. We will complete the request within 30 days.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and protected with industry standard access controls.
Children
Sitebud is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
